Law 2089 of January 23, 1969 amends the Political Parties Act. Provides that the statutory number of district party chapters of a political party shall be a half of the number of local constituencies; stipulates that the statutory number of members of a district party chapter shall be not less than 100; provides that a member of the National Assembly affiliated with a district party chapter shall not be deprived of his membership in the National Assembly in the event of dissolution of such district party chapter; stipulates that a preparatory committee for establishment of a political party shall be extinguished unless establishment of a political party is registered within a year from the date of report thereof; and abolishes the Act on Merger Procedures, etc. of Political Parties and incorporates relevant provisions into the Political Parties Act.
