Law 1808 of August 3, 1966 enacts the Act on Special Measures for Defaulted Loans of Financial Institutions. Aims to normalize operation of financial institutions and secure cash flow of financial funds by expediting collection of defaulted loans which hinder business of financial institutions. Applies to financial institutions under Article 3 of the Banking Act, the Korea Development Bank and the Korea Asset Management Corporation and allows service by publication if foreclosure sale is initiated by financial institutions and if address, residence or whereabouts of a receiver of service is not known.(8articles; 731-732p.)
