Law 1114 of July 31, 1962 enacts the Act on Special Measures for the Inducement of Capital Goods by Long-term Settlement. Aims to stipulate matters necessary for the inducement of capital goods by means of a long-term settlement method in order to start, extend, or improve projects for the development of domestic resources. Defines "long-term settlement" under this Act as a method to pay the price for capital goods imported from a foreign country with 2 or more installments for more than 3 years under the export credit system; and requires any Korean citizen who intends to induce capital goods of which prices exceed a certain price of the Ordinance from a foreigner under Article 2 of the Foreign Capital Inducement Promotion Act with a capital goods inducement contract for long-term settlements including retaining fees, to get permission from the Minister of Economy and Planning through the deliberation of the Foreign Capital Inducement Promotion Committee.(5articles; 423p.)
