Resolution 7/95 of 8 August 1995 approves the National Water Policy of Mozambique, which follows the text of the Resolution in an Annex. The Policy Statement contains nine sections, and covers: basic needs; participation of beneficiaries; value of water; institutional aspects; the role of the government; management of water resources; investments; the private sector; urban water supply; rural water supply; health; short term goals; and strategic activities.
