Law 1180 of November 21, 1962 amends the Nationality Act. Eases the nationality aquisition requirements and includes a foreigner who has no nationality or has lost his/her foreign nationality within 6 months from the acquisition of nationality of the Republic of Korea, to this Act; and requires a person who has a sustained domicile in a foreign country and intends to recover his/her nationality of the Republic of Korea to get permission from the Minister of Justice through the recommendation of the Nationality Recovery Deliberative Committee.
