Ordinance 69-157 of 9 August 1969 pertains to the general implementing measures of Ordinance-Law 69-012 of 12 March 1969 related to the organization of the administrative entities called "local governments". It is composed of 8 chapters: chapter I deals with the methods of election, drawing-up, approval and communication of the official minutes as well as publicity measures of the meetings of the Council of the local communities; chapter II fixes the conditions and the methods of deliberations of several Councils of local communities; chapter III provides for the cases concerning the end of the mandates of the members of the Council of the local governments; chapter IV regulates the statute of the chiefs of the local government; chapter V relates to the rules applicable to the staff of the local governments hired under statute; chapter VI determines the conditions and the limits of the local governments as far as loans are concerned; chapter VII concerns the management of the local government controls organized by the local governments and chapter VIII relates to the budget, the accounts, the fund control and the management of the local governments’ movable properties. Article 244 repeals the ordinances 21-220 through 21-225 of 29 May 1958. (246 articles; pp. 744 - 775)
