The National Annuity Law contains 59 articles and was promulgated by the President on 8 August 2007. The law is comprised of seven chapters:
Chapter 1, general provisions (Articles 1 through 6) Chapter 2, insured and effects of insurance (Articles 7, 8 and 9) Chapter 3, insurance premium (Articles 10 through 17) Chapter 4, insurance payment (Articles 18 through 44) Chapter 5, insurance fund and funding (Articles 45 through 49) Chapter 6, penalties (Articles 50 and 51) Chapter 7, supplementary provisions.
