Summary (English)	Appropriation Act No. 2, 1998-99, S.C. 1998, c. 28, received Royal Assent on 18 June 1998, and authorizes the Estimates passed by Parliament to defray certain expenses of the federal public administration, not otherwise provided for, for the financial year ending 31 March 1999. The Act provides for the sum of $27,864,445,553.94 to be appropriated from the Consolidated Revenue Fund to be used for the federal public administration. The Act came into force upon Royal Assent. (Bill C45, 6 sections, pp. 1127-1178).
(French)	La Loi de crédits no 2 pour 1998-1999, L.C. 1998, ch. 28, a reçu la sanction royale le 18 juin 1998, et elle autorise que le Budget des dépenses adopté par le Parlement serve à couvrir certaines dépenses de l'administration publique fédérale faites au cours de l'exercice financier se terminant le 31 mars 1999 et auxquelles il n'est pas pourvu par ailleurs. La Loi permet que la somme de 27 864 445 553,94 $ soit prélevée du Trésor et qu'elle soit destinée à l'administration publique fédérale. La Loi est entrée en vigueur après avoir reçu la sanction royale (projet de loi C-45, 6 articles, p. 1127 à 1178).
