Summary (English) |
The Waste Disposal Law contains 28 articles and was promulgated by the President on 26 July 1974. The law is enacted with the goals of effectively disposing of waste, improving the environment and protecting people’s health. It is comprised of six chapters:
Chapter 1, general provisions (Articles 1 through 5) Chapter 2, disposal of general waste (Articles 6 through 11) Chapter 3, disposal of industrial waste (Articles 12 through 14) Chapter 4, management of private waste disposal institutions (Articles 15 through 16) Chapter 5, rewards and punishments (Articles 17 through 26) Chapter 6, supplemental provisions (Articles 27 and 28) (28 provisions, p. 1-3) |
