Law 2086 of January 22, 1969 enacts the Honorable Treatment of Ex-Presidents Act. Aims to grant pensions, etc. for the honorable treatment of ex-presidents and their surviving family. Grants to ex-presidents the pension equivalent to 70% of the remuneration for the President for the period of their life; and grants to surviving spouses the pension equivalent to 50% thereof, or to their surviving children of younger than 18 years in case of no surviving spouses or death of the surviving spouses on such pension.
