The Water And Soil Preservation Law contains 39 articles and was promulgated by the President on 27 May 1994. The law is enacted with the goals of conducting the treatment and maintenance of water and soil preservation, conserving water and soil resources, nourishing headwaters, ridding off disasters, facilitating the reasonable exploitation of land and enhancing the nationals’ well-being.
